Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact combo-control deck uses Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor to bypass mana costs on mid-to-high mana value artifacts while maintaining a controlling shell. The primary win condition is a classic artifact storm loop: combining Mystic Forge (or The Reality Chip) with a cost reducer like Etherium Sculptor or Foundry Inspector and Sensei's Divining Top. This engine draws the entire library, finishing the game on the spot through Psychosis Crawler life drain or Laboratory Maniac. Supporting this win condition is a strong interactive suite of low-cost countermagic, defensive sweepers such as Evacuation and Aetherspouts, and asymmetric stax elements like Torpor Orb, Mana Web, and Frozen Aether. Even without the commander, redundant top-deck casting pieces and artifact tutors ensure reliable assembly by turn 5, while Padeem, Consul of Innovation and The One Ring shield execution from opposing disruption.
