Deck overview

Terra, Herald of Hope leads a Mardu graveyard-value deck built around self-mill, discard, and "leave the graveyard" payoffs. Terra mills two cards each combat and, after damage, reanimates a power-3-or-less creature for two mana, feeding cards like Ark of Hunger, Advanced Reconstruction, and Quintorius, History Chaser. Secondary lines use Buried Alive plus Reanimate, Sun Titan, or Karmic Guide to jump-start recursion, or Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant's saga to recover a full board. The commander is the most efficient engine, but the 99 holds enough independent recursion that the plan continues if she is removed. The usual kill is a Moonshaker Cavalry alpha strike or a mass-resurrection board from Rise of the Dark Realms.
