Commander: Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar is the deck's shield and card-draw engine, not its primary combo piece. The main plan is to assemble one of several overlapping Selesnya loops: Melira or Solemnity with a persist creature and a sacrifice outlet, Luminous Broodmoth plus Solemnity, or a Scion-token loop with Eldrazi Displacer, Emiel, and Ashnod's Altar. Those loops convert into Blasting Station damage, infinite mana for Walking Ballista, or Aetherflux Reservoir. The secondary plan is the Aluren line, where Whitemane Lion or Fleetfoot Panther bounces itself for free and turns repeated casts into life and final damage. There is no hidden commander or double-faced commander to analyze; Kutzil is mainly the way the deck wins safely on its own turn.
