Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund by user2097423

Format: Commander

Commander: Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund leads an aggressive Jund Dragon midrange deck. The primary plan is to accelerate with mana dorks, signets, and land-tutors, then deploy Karrthus early so every Dragon enters with haste. The deck then wins by swinging with a wide flying Dragon army, amplified by damage doublers, overrun effects, and Utvara Hellkite tokens. Secondary paths include cheating Dragons into play with Dracogenesis, Monster Manual, Belbe's Portal, Dragon Arch, and Breaching Dragonstorm, and using Ancient Copper Dragon / Nature's Will to chain extra mana. Karrthus is also a disruptive theft effect against Dragon mirrors, stealing opposing Dragons and untapping them before combat.
