Deck overview

Led by Liesa, Shroud of Dusk, this Orzhov midrange deck combines aggressive Angel tribal pressure, symmetric spellcasting life tax, and robust lifegain synergies. The deck leverages efficient mana acceleration like Giada, Font of Hope, Sol Ring, and cost reducers to cast Liesa by Turn 4. Once established, high-impact Angels like Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, and Archangel of Thune scale the board into an overwhelming evasive aerial army. Liesa's ability to pay commander tax with life rather than mana ensures exceptional resilience against removal, allowing rapid rebuilding. Opponents are squeezed between aerial combat damage and passive life loss from Liesa and Kambal, Consul of Allocation. While the deck naturally contains infinite drain loops via Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, it primarily wins through dominant combat damage backed by Akroma's Will on Turn 7.
