Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Assassin tribal deck led by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The strategy uses low-cost, evasive Assassins to trigger freerunning discounts, allowing expensive threats to enter play for just two black mana. Mid-game card advantage engines like Basim Ibn Ishaq, Coastal Piracy, and Black Market Connections replenish hand size while generating Treasure tokens. The primary route to victory bypasses traditional 40-life combat math: Sorin Markov sets an opponent to 10 life, allowing an attacking Ezio to trigger his five-color ability to eliminate that player on combat damage. If Ramses, Assassin Lord is also attacking, that single elimination triggers an instant table-wide victory. The deck struggles when opponents present early blockers that stop combat damage or when Treasure generation is disrupted, as the mana base relies heavily on basic lands and requires Treasures to produce green mana for Ezio's execution trigger.
