Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue skies tempo build led by Geist of Saint Thalia. The strategy revolves around deploying an army of efficient, low-mana flying creatures—such as Storm Crow, Faerie Vandal, and Aether Swooper—and converting combat connections into massive card advantage via Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Reconnaissance Mission. The commander's static cost reduction discounts noncreature enchantments, artifacts, and counterspells by {1}, accelerating engine deployment. Opposing ground aggression is curtailed through asymmetric stax pieces like Meekstone, Propaganda, and Gravitational Shift, which penalize high-power non-flyers while leaving the pilot's 1/2 flyers unimpeded. The deck closes games through incremental flying combat damage boosted by Gravitational Shift and Andúril, Narsil Reforged, or via alternate player elimination using Strixhaven Stadium. It relies on a suite of classic blue countermagic and bounce spells to protect its advantage and disrupt key opposing spells.
