SQUIRRELS GALORE by ModifiedNerd2.0

Format: Commander

Commander: Hazel of the Rootbloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hazel of the Rootbloom leads a Squirrel-token deck that can win through either a wide combat swarm or a token-doubling drain loop. The primary plan is to build a high Squirrel count with Squirrel Nest, Chitterspitter, and Deep Forest Hermit, then use Hazel's end-step copy to multiply it. Hazel also turns tokens into mana, which accelerates expensive pumps like Preposterous Proportions. The sharpest secondary line is a hidden-commander package: Jaheira, Friend of the Forest makes every token tap for green, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl repeatedly doubles or triples them, and Mirkwood Bats turns each activation into life loss. Without Hazel the deck still functions, but slower. No true double-faced commander exists.
