Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Mardu Kaalia deck wins by attacking with Kaalia of the Vast to cheat large Angels, Demons, and Dragons from hand into play tapped and attacking for free. Kaalia is the sole cheat engine and the deck's primary accelerator; without her you must hard-cast 5-9 mana threats. Secondary paths include grinding value with Kaalia, Zenith Seeker and Vilis, Broker of Blood, doubling damage with Gisela and Twinflame Tyrant, taking extra combats with Aurelia and Aggravated Assault, and assembling Liliana's Contract with four Demons. Vilis and Aurelia act as hidden commanders for cards and combats when Kaalia is taxed.
