Patron MaddAlfie - X Emplary Hydras by user9781675

Format: Commander

Commander: Zaxara, the Exemplary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zaxara, the Exemplary anchors a Sultai Hydra/X-spell deck that aims to ramp into the commander, then use untap auras to generate infinite mana and sink it into game-ending X spells. The deck also supports a backup plan of enormous Hydra tokens and unblockable attacks. With a heavy draw package and counter synergies, it can dig toward its key pieces, though it relies heavily on Zaxara and the two untap auras to close games efficiently.
