Deck overview

This mono-white deck executes an aggressive Voltron strategy centered on Cloud, Midgar Mercenary. Cloud guarantees consistent access to key tools by tutoring an Equipment card upon entering the battlefield. When equipped, Cloud doubles all triggered abilities from itself and attached Equipment, generating overwhelming value and combat pressure. The deck features a dense suite of cheap blink instants like Ephemerate and Cloudshift that protect Cloud from removal while repeatedly triggering Equipment searches. After securing defensive tools like Commander's Plate and Mithril Coat, the deck deploys high-impact weapons like Blackblade Reforged, Fireshrieker, and protection Swords. Doubled combat triggers untap lands, draw cards, and force discards while Cloud eliminates opponents with lethal commander damage by Turn 7. While highly resilient to targeted interaction, the deck is heavily dependent on Cloud due to running almost no other creature threats.
