Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya Humans aggro-combo strategy led by Torens, Fist of the Angels. It blends aggressive go-wide creature development with an accessible two-card infinite combo in Siona, Captain of the Pyleas and Shielded by Faith. Torens converts every creature cast into training Human Soldier tokens, expanding the board while triggering tribal payoffs like Kyler, Sigardian Emissary, Cathars' Crusade, and Champion of Lambholt. Proactive hate pieces including Drannith Magistrate, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, and Aura Shards restrict opposing development and dismantle key artifacts and enchantments. The primary win line deploys Siona and enchants her with Shielded by Faith to produce an unbounded token army on Turn 4, attacking for lethal combat damage on Turn 5. An elite protection suite featuring Grand Abolisher, Teferi's Protection, Clever Concealment, and Heroic Intervention shields the board across response windows to ensure a decisive finish.
