Deck overview

Jace, Multiverse Architect commands a 4-color Polymorph Control deck that leverages cheap token generators and an accessible command-zone cheat engine to deploy devastating high-CMC creatures and planeswalkers ahead of curve. By ramping with a dense suite of 2-CMC rocks on turn 2 and producing early token fodder via Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, or Staff of the Storyteller, the deck reliably casts Jace on turn 4. Jace's −3 loyalty ability immediately flips fodder into game-dominating threats like Archon of Cruelty, Hullbreaker Horror, Serra's Emissary, or Archfiend of Despair. Supported by efficient 1-to-3 mana interaction, versatile board sweepers, and defensive spells such as Flawless Maneuver and Ripples of Potential, the deck protects its planeswalkers behind combat taxes while snowballing card advantage. Redundant mass polymorph spells in the 99 provide explosive alternate win paths, closing games through overwhelming evasive combat damage and asymmetric attrition by turn 7.
