Deck overview

This is an Esper "drain-control" deck built around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed, who turns every noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater into a table-wide shock plus lifegain, and whose end-step trigger converts the life loss she causes into consistent card draw. The plan is draw-go attrition: deploy Y'shtola early, protect her with a dense counterspell and removal suite, then chain MV3+ instants and sorceries to bleed the entire table out. Multiple force multipliers compound the clock - Delney, Streetwise Lookout doubles Y'shtola's triggers, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Enduring Tenacity convert her lifegain into extra drain, copy sorceries like Quantum Misalignment create extra Y'shtolas, and Emet-Selch of the Third Seat recurs spells turn after turn. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through repeated drain triggers, Decorum Dissertation's repeatable paradigm, and Bloodchief Ascension once it reaches threshold.
