Deck overview

This deck is a focused Gruul aggressive build commanded by Xenagos, God of Revels. The strategy accelerates mana in the first two turns using efficient 1- and 2-CMC dorks, land ramps, and enchantments to deploy Xenagos on Turn 3 or 4. Once Xenagos is on the battlefield, every subsequent creature enters as an immediate, high-power threat that gains haste and doubles its power at the beginning of combat. The deck leverages devastating combat triggers and extra-combat engines such as Bloodthirster, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Port Razer, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to pressure life totals rapidly.
