Commander: Doctor Octopus, Master Planner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doctor Octopus, Master Planner is a Dimir Villain-tribal deck that wants to turn a wide board of buffed Villains into combat damage. The commander is the engine: he gives other Villains +2/+2 and refills your hand to eight at each end step, adding you can cast spells and still draw up. Secondary paths are Psychosis Crawler drain, Mysterio token bursts, and mass resurrection from Behold the Sinister Six!. There is no true hidden commander; the alternate Doc Ock legends are role players that support the same plan. The deck is a midrange combat deck, not a combo deck, and it needs the commander to keep drawing.
