Deck overview

This deck is a Temur +1/+1 counters and Voltron midrange strategy centered on Me, the Immortal. The commander features a unique persistent counter ability: counters placed on Me remain across zone changes, including the graveyard and command zone. The deck leverages this resilience by rapidly accelerating into Me on Turn 4, buffing it with keyword counters (first strike, vigilance, menace, trample, hexproof) and scaling its power exponentially through amplifiers like Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, and Bristly Bill, Spine Sower. Supported by efficient interaction, free counterspells like Force of Will, and robust board protection like Heroic Intervention, the deck presents a lethal commander damage clock by Turn 6 and systematically eliminates opponents across consecutive combat steps by Turn 8.
