Deck overview

Sami, Wildcat Captain is the engine of a Boros artifact-matters deck. The primary plan is to deploy cheap artifacts, cast Sami on curve, then use her affinity-for-artifacts discount to chain out expensive colorless threats such as Ulamog, the Defiler and Emrakul, the Promised End. Secondary paths are wide artifact-creature beats with Steel Overseer and Forsaken Monument, and a myriad finish with Legion Loyalty. Sami is both the cost-reduction engine and a double-strike commander-damage threat; there is no hidden commander. The deck wins through combat, usually by spreading a large Eldrazi or equipped Sami across all opponents, with protection and recursion to survive disruption.
