Fungal Flooding Fabricator by DrVillem

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghave, Guru of Spores

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Abzan build helmed by Ghave, Guru of Spores is a +1/+1-counter and Saproling-token value deck built around Ghave's ability to convert counters into creatures and creatures into counters. Despite his reputation as an infinite-combo commander, this 99 contains no infinite loops; it wins by grinding out an overwhelming board and finishing with mass pump effects such as Camaraderie, Strength of the Pack, The Crystal's Chosen, and Season of Gathering. The tall end of the clock comes from Mycoloth, Hierophant Bio-Titan, Primeval Protector, Ancient Stone Idol, and the self-recurring Sproutback Trudge. Vraska, Golgari Queen provides card advantage, spot removal, and a game-ending emblem. The commander is the engine that ties the plan together, but the Thallid/spore shell can generate Saprolings without him - the deck simply gets slower and more linear when he is absent.
