Deck overview

This Esper deck combines a legendary tribal theme with Human typal synergies, piloted by Tymna the Weaver and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, aggressive legendary creatures in the early turns, casting Tymna on turn 3, and immediately converting combat connections into substantial card draw. Sakashima clones Tymna to bypass the legend rule and double draw triggers, rapidly replenishing the hand. The deck relies on asymmetric board wipes like Urza's Ruinous Blast and Raise the Palisade to clear opposing blockers while leaving its own legendary army intact. Anthem effects such as Flowering of the White Tree and Heroes' Podium scale the board into a lethal combat force. A dense suite of defensive options—including Boromir, Warden of the Tower, Flare of Fortitude, and Clever Concealment—shields the army against opposing sweepers and spot removal.
