Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck maximizes mana velocity and power efficiency to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger as early as turn 4. The opening turns establish cheap mana dorks such as Llanowar Elves and aggressively statted creatures like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, or Gigantosaurus. This rapid power accumulation reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just {G}{G}. Once on the battlefield, Ghalta triggers robust card draw engines including Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise to keep resources flowing. The deck closes games through overwhelming trampling combat damage amplified by Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While the list possesses immense raw power, rapid recovery, and high threat density, its linear combat plan lacks stack interaction, dedicated tutors, and built-in protection, leaving it vulnerable to repeated board wipes.
