Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggressive deck combining Dwarf tribal synergies with Equipment mechanics, commanded by Dwalin, Weaponmaster. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cheap Equipment early, casting Dwalin on Turn 2, and attacking consistently to accumulate hone counters that permanently boost equipped creatures' power. As the game develops into the midgame, the deck leverages legendary Dwarf payoffs like Dáin Ironfoot for double strike, Thorin, Mountain-king for free equips and removal, and Bifur, Melodic Rider for trigger doubling to eliminate opponents through escalating combat damage. Disruptive elements like Price of Glory, Thalia, the Survivor, and Voice of Victory protect your combat steps and punish reactive opponents. While the deck possesses strong combat acceleration and resilient backup commanders, it relies heavily on sustained combat phases and lacks mass protection against board sweepers, requiring careful sequencing and threat management across full table rotations.
