Deck overview

This is a Boros Angels tribal deck helmed by Aurelia, the Warleader, built around her extra-combat trigger to double up on combat damage every turn. The core plan is to deploy a board of evasive angels, land Aurelia (who has haste and attacks the turn she's cast), and then layer damage multipliers - Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Gratuitous Violence, and True Conviction - so each extra combat step becomes lethal. The deck leans on a dense attack-tax and protection suite (Archangel of Tithes, Windborn Muse, Norn's Annex, Iroas, God of Victory) to survive while it builds, with Scourge of the Throne providing a second extra combat. Card advantage comes from combat-conditional engines like Firemane Commando, Mangara, the Diplomat, and Aurelia, the Law Above. It wins through pure combat inevitability rather than combos.
