Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin tribal deck built around counters and death triggers, helmed by The Great Goblin. The commander turns every +1/+1 counter placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army into a 2-damage ping, and every qualifying death into impulse card advantage. The deck leans into two overlapping engines: a goblin swarm (Krenko, Mob Boss, Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin, General Kreat, the Boltbringer) and an aristocrat drain package (Sling-Gang Lieutenant, Pashalik Mons, Goblin Bombardment, Boggart Cursecrafter). Counter-synergy cards like Blade of the Bloodchief, Tarrian's Soulcleaver, Anduril, Narsil Reforged, and Agatha's Soul Cauldron supercharge the commander's ping. The deck wins by overwhelming the table with token mass, draining life through sacrifice outlets, and converting every death into cards and damage.
