Deck overview

This is a Golgari "superfriends" deck helmed by Carth the Lion, deploying an enormous suite of 22 planeswalkers backed by deathtouch dorks and heavy ramp. Carth's ETB/death trigger turns every dead planeswalker into a top-7 dig for the next one, effectively acting as a command-zone tutor for the deck's core card type, while his loyalty-cost discount (ultimate for one less) accelerates the path to game-ending emblems. The primary win is emblem-based inevitability: Vraska, Golgari Queen's "combat damage = lose the game" emblem, Vraska the Unseen's Assassin tokens, and Vraska, Scheming Gorgon's deathtouch-lethal emblem, all reinforced by The Chain Veil double-activations and Innkeeper's Talent counter-doubling. The deck grinds through value, recursion, and mass permanent-drops (Genesis Wave, Kamahl's Druidic Vow) to out-advantage the table rather than assemble a fast combo.
