Format: Commander

Commander: Bello, Bard of the Brambles

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Gruul deck is built around Bello, Bard of the Brambles, who turns every non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment you control with mana value 4 or greater into a 4/4 Elemental creature with indestructible, haste, and a combat-damage draw trigger. The primary plan is to fill the board with high-CMC value enchantments and artifacts-damage doublers, card-draw engines, ramp pieces-and then swing with an army of hasty, indestructible attackers that draw cards on contact. Finishers include Gratuitous Violence, Berserkers' Onslaught, Unnatural Growth, and massive creatures like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Etali, Primal Storm that can be played through cost reduction or cascade. The deck is a straightforward gruul stompy variant that leverages the commander's unique animation ability to generate both board presence and card advantage simultaneously.
