Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger/polymorph deck helmed by Bria, Riptide Rogue. The primary game plan is to chain cheap instants and sorceries to generate value through prowess triggers, token makers (Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Third Path Iconoclast), and mana engines (Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling). Bria serves as a resilient unblockable enabler, allowing a chosen creature to slip through each turn. The deck then leverages polymorph effects-Reality Scramble, Transmogrify, Polymorph, Proteus Staff, Fireflux Squad-to transform a token or expendable creature into a massive threat like Ovika, Enigma Goliath, Starwinder, or Manaform Hellkite. Rituals (Pyretic Ritual, Seething Song, Jeska's Will) provide explosive mana, while a dense suite of interaction (counterspells, instant-speed removal) keeps the path clear. The deck wins through combat damage, often with an unblockable, pumped creature hitting for lethal commander or general damage.
