Smaug Brew (No Buys) by ChiliKing

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mono-red Treasure-Dragon deck built to make Smaug the Magnificent into a repeatable burn engine. The primary plan is to bank Treasures through Smaug's upkeep, token makers, sagas, and spell-based token creation, then use extra-combat effects so Smaug's attack trigger fires several times in one turn. Secondary paths include Dragon beatdown with Last Light of Durin's Day and Breaching Dragonstorm, plus a small pump/double-strike package for a commander-damage finish. The Legend of Roku // Avatar Roku is a value engine, not a hidden commander. Smaug is linear but resilient: the deck has enough independent threats to keep applying pressure if he is removed, although the full Treasure-burn finish becomes much slower.
