Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Izzet combo list built for competitive Commander. While Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Sword Coast Sailor provide color identity, free-spell enablement, and unblockable pressure, the primary objective is racing toward compact, game-ending two-card infinite combos. The deck pairs explosive mana velocity—powered by Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and red rituals—with top-tier draw engines like Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora. Multiple overlapping win conditions such as Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker with Corridor Monitor, and Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator with Glint-Horn Buccaneer give the deck strong functional redundancy. Free protection spells like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will ensure that combo attempts are safely defended. Targeted hatepieces like Grafdigger's Cage and Damping Sphere slow down opposing turbo and breach lines while this deck prepares a same-turn lethal finish.
