Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Zimone, Mystery Unraveler, combining classic Simic landfall ramp with the manifest dread mechanic. The game plan focuses on generating early mana velocity through traditional ramp spells, casting Zimone, and triggering landfall multiple times per turn. The first land drop manifests dread, cheating a card face down onto the battlefield as a 2/2, while the second land drop turns that permanent face up without paying its mana cost. This bypasses the casting costs of massive game-ending bombs like Worldspine Wurm, Jumbo Cactuar, and Pathbreaker Ibex. Auxiliary engines like Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait keep cards flowing into hand, while tokens from Scute Swarm build a wide board. The deck closes the game through explosive overrun attacks powered by Overwhelming Stampede or Pathbreaker Ibex.
