Deck overview

This is a Jund (-1/-1 counters) midrange engine deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. Every counter placement becomes card draw on your own creatures and a ping on opponents', so the deck floods the board with snakes, insects, and elves via Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Flourishing Defenses, then converts that churn into table-wide drain and theft. Primary wins are infinite sacrifice loops (chiefly through Yawgmoth, Thran Physician), attrition locks with Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night, and burst finishers like Soul Immolation. Recursion and persist bodies keep the engine online after wipes. Auntie Ool is the value linchpin rather than a combo piece: she turns the deck's natural counter density into relentless card flow and life loss, but the win lines themselves live entirely in the 99.
