Commander: The Locust God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This The Locust God deck is a high-volume token swarm strategy that weaponizes card draw. The commander creates a flying haste Insect token each time you draw a card, turning every wheel, cantrip, and draw engine into an army. The list leans heavily into repeatable draw triggers (Mindmoil, Arjun, the Shifting Flame), mass-draw spells (Timetwister, Windfall effects via Magus of the Wheel and Whirlpool Warrior), and token-multiplying anthems like Shared Animosity and Impact Tremors. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage from an exponentially growing board of evasive tokens, with Molten Psyche as an alternative finisher. Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer can turn all tokens into a single high-power copy for a one-shot kill. The deck runs no infinite combos; its power comes from chaining draw spells to bury opponents in sheer creature count.
