Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green stompy list designed to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger for just two green mana as quickly as possible. The early game focuses on accelerating with one-drop mana elves to deploy under-costed, high-power creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull on Turns 2 and 3. By Turn 4, the combined power on board reduces Ghalta's cost to {G}{G}, placing a 12/12 trampler onto the battlefield. Power-based card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond keep your hand full as threats enter. The deck finishes opponents through overwhelming combat damage, amplified by finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While exceptionally fast at building a terrifying board, the deck lacks mass protection against board wipes and relies on natural draws due to a lack of tutors.
