Format: Commander

Commander: Edward Kenway

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Edward Kenway leads a Grixis Assassin/Pirate/Vehicle deck that turns combat into Treasures and exiled cards. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Edward's end-step trigger. The primary plan is to deploy Edward, play Assassins and Vehicles, and use the resulting Treasures to power a compact combo. Secondary paths include the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite-mana loop with Shao Jun as the outlet, and the Malcolm + Conspiracy + Shao Jun infinite-damage loop. The deck also has a theft subtheme using Laughing Jasper Flint and Gonti, Night Minister. It is a midrange combo deck that can pivot to a tempo game if Edward is removed.
