Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir combo-control list that pairs Faerie tribal synergies with compact competitive win conditions. Led by Oona, Queen of the Fae, the deck utilizes an efficient mana acceleration suite featuring Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Mana Vault, and Dark Ritual to execute ahead of curve. Its primary route to victory is the Thassa's Oracle combo with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, which can assemble and win on Turn 3. When pivoting to longer games, value engines like Talion, the Kindly Lord, Mystic Remora, and Nymris, Oona's Trickster generate steady card advantage while flash hate pieces like Opposition Agent and Notion Thief deny opposing resources. A rich counterspell suite protects the combo from interaction, and redundant backup lines such as Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal or Power Artifact ensure robust resilience if the primary attempt is disrupted.
