Deck overview

This Mardu artifact-token deck is helmed by Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter, a haste-enabled sacrifice engine that converts artifact creatures into Treasures and noncreature artifacts into Constructs. The primary game plan revolves around generating massive numbers of artifact tokens-Treasure, Clue, Food, and Constructs-and converting them into table-wide drain via Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, Marionette Apprentice, or Goblin Bombardment. The deck leans heavily on Dwarf tribal synergies (e.g., Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Kili the Resourceful) and includes a resilient infinite-combo line using Jan Jansen + Xorn + any artifact creature to generate infinite token ETBs and death triggers. Secondary wins include Hellkite Tyrant's twenty-artifact alternate condition and combat damage from Cavern-Hoard Dragon or Ancient Copper Dragon. The commander is a pivotal value piece but not irreplaceable-the deck can execute its plan through other sac outlets and pinger effects.
