Deck overview

This Boros deck is a Voltron Equipment deck led by Iroas, God of Victory. Iroas gives your attackers menace and prevents damage to them, so you can attack safely while you build one large threat. You tutor for Equipment such as Buster Sword, Blackblade Reforged, and Excalibur and attach them cheaply with Ardenn, Puresteel Paladin, and Forge Anew. Protection from Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, and Giver of Runes keeps the carrier alive. Extra combat cards like Genji Glove, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Relentless Assault let you double or triple combat damage in a single turn. Hero of Bladehold and Treasure from The Reaver Cleaver add secondary pressure. There is no infinite combo; you win by sequential combat kills.
