Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan aggressive midrange build centered on the toxic, infect, and proliferate mechanics led by Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa. The game plan focuses on establishing early poison counters using low-cost creatures like Glistener Elf and Skrelv, Defector Mite, then casting Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa to activate the corrupted ability for sustained card advantage from opponents' libraries. Once poison is distributed across the table, the deck leverages potent proliferate engines such as Evolution Sage, Bloated Contaminator, and Phyrexian Swarmlord to quickly advance all opponents to 10 poison counters without needing to deal 40 regular combat damage to each player. With resilient board pieces, protective equipment, and sweepers like Farewell and White Sun's Twilight, the deck effectively grinds out multiplayer games.
