Deck overview

This Rakdos spell-slinger deck is helmed by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, who creates Wizard tokens each turn and transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied once you control four or more Wizards, granting all Wizards double damage. The primary game plan is to chain noncreature spells-rituals, card draw, and burn-to trigger a dense suite of pinger creatures and tokens (Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, Fiery Inscription, and the many token-producers) while accumulating Wizards. Once transformed, Kuja's double-damage aura turns every ping into a race-ending threat. The deck wins through incremental damage amplified by double triggers, with burst finishers like Boltwave and Blood for the Blood God! closing out the table. The Wizard tribal subtheme is functional but not deep; the commander is the engine's heart.
