Format: Commander

Commander: Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis leads a four-color aikido and group hug control deck that turns opponents strength against them. The commander accelerates everyone with extra land drops and cards while setting up your mana base. Rather than racing ahead with proactive threats, you maintain a low profile behind defensive pillows like Collective Restraint and The Second Doctor. You control combat with goad effects such as Taunt from the Rampart and Life of the Party. You close games by reflecting massive lethal attacks back at opponents with Deflecting Palm, Comeuppance, and New Way Forward, or by punishing developed boards using Treacherous Terrain and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight.
