Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai tribal and token strategy built around Uugguu, the Omniplasm. The primary plan leverages shapeshifter clone creatures such as Mirror Image, Phantasmal Image, and Phyrexian Metamorph to enter as copies of Uugguu. The legend rule puts the nontoken clone card into the graveyard, triggering Uugguu to create two nonlegendary 2/2 token copies of itself. With multiple Uugguu copies active, any subsequent nontoken Ooze that dies triggers each Uugguu to create pairs of copies. The deck scales into the mid-game with token doublers like Parallel Lives and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, massive anthem effects like March of the World Ooze, and wide creature swarms from Kindred Summons and Consuming Blob. A dense package of 8 counterspells provides reactive interaction while the creature army establishes board dominance.
