Deck overview

This deck is an Esper battlecruiser strategy built under a strict creative constraint: every single nonland card has an odd mana value. Commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, the deck ramps using 3-CMC mana rocks and landcycling spells during the early turns, casts Yennett on Turn 5, and attacks on Turn 6. Because every nonland card in the library is odd, Yennett's attack trigger guarantees a free cast whenever a nonland card is revealed. This lets the deck cheat massive 7-to-9 mana threats like Magister Sphinx, Inkwell Leviathan, Blazing Archon, and Triplicate Titan directly onto the battlefield ahead of curve. The deck relies on combat damage across multiple turn cycles to close out games, aided by life-total manipulation and evasion. While the deck boasts high internal synergy, its odd-cost restriction eliminates efficient 2-CMC staples and cheap instant interaction, making it reliant on battlecruiser combat and commander survival.
