Deck overview

This deck is a go-wide Boros Soldier tribal strategy led by Commander Mustard. The primary objective is to curve out with efficient Soldier creatures and token generators during the early turns, establishing a resilient board presence before casting the commander. Once deployed, Commander Mustard grants all other Soldiers vigilance, trample, and haste, allowing newly created tokens and existing attackers to immediately swing through defenses without sacrificing board defense. The deck scales its damage output using powerful multiplier effects such as Shared Animosity, Warleader's Call, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Aurelia, the Warleader, alongside direct damage triggers from the commander's activated ability. A robust suite of instant-speed indestructible spells protects the army against conventional board sweepers. While the deck lacks fast mana, tutors, and counterspells, its high redundancy and relentless combat pressure enable it to threaten decisive table finishes by Turn 7.
