Deck overview

This Mono-Red Dragon deck is commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen and focuses on ramping into overwhelming flying threats. The game plan relies on early mana rocks and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman to deploy Lathliss on Turn 5. Once Lathliss is active, every subsequent nontoken Dragon creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token. Synergy pieces such as Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus translate these Dragon entries into immediate board damage and rapid combat eliminations. The deck controls the ground using one-sided sweepers like Breath Weapon and Magmaquake while soaring over opposing blockers. Its primary vulnerabilities are a lack of stack interaction and low protection against exile-based board wipes.
