Deck overview

Lyna, Veil of Vengeance commands an Esper saboteur deck focused on unblockable shadow creatures and continuous card draw. Because shadow creatures can only block or be blocked by other shadow creatures, they reliably bypass conventional board stalls. Connecting with these creatures triggers Lyna's ability to draw extra cards every turn, creating substantial card advantage. The deck turns this card flow into a decisive win using damage multipliers like Stronghold Overseer, Psychosis Crawler, myriad equipment, and poison counters. Defensive cards such as Propaganda and No Mercy deter aggressive crackbacks, while utility shadow creatures like Soltari Visionary dismantle opposing enchantments. Although vulnerable to mass sweepers, the high density of cheap shadow threats and steady hand replenishment allow the deck to rebuild quickly and close out games through unblockable combat damage.
