Commander: Silverquill, the Disputant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a midrange Orzhov aristocrats and token-drain deck helmed by Silverquill, the Disputant. The core plan generates wide boards of tokens and fodder, then converts deaths into life loss via a dense suite of blood-artist effects while using the commander's casualty ability to copy key instants and sorceries for double value. Primary wins come from table-wide drains (Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Zulaport Cutthroat, Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, Syr Konrad, the Grim) amplified by sacrifice outlets and go-wide combat from Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and token makers. Secondary paths include extra turns via Temporal Extortion and incremental value from Teysa Karlov doubling death triggers. The deck plays a classic attrition game: ramp into engines, protect the board, and grind opponents out through repeated drains and interaction rather than a single explosive combo turn.
