Format: Commander

Commander: Narset, Enlightened Master

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a spellslinger build commanded by Narset, Enlightened Master, aiming to exploit her attack trigger to exile and cast noncreature spells for free. The deck piles cost reducers (Stenn, Paranoid Partisan, Ral, Monsoon Mage), magecraft payoffs (Veyran, Voice of Duality, Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist), and copy effects (Thousand-Year Storm, Reverberate, Narset's Reversal) to chain spells into overwhelming advantage. Primary wins involve storming off with Crackle with Power or Thousand-Year Storm copying direct damage spells, or assembling a two-cast Approach of the Second Sun from hand. The deck leverages a dense Wizard tribal subtheme (Harmonic Prodigy, Kykar, Wind's Fury, Talrand, Sky Summoner) to amplify triggers and generate mana/tokens. It is a high-risk, high-reward strategy that crumbles without its commander and relies on resolving Narset and connecting in combat.
