Deck overview

This is a casual Esper dungeon and graveyard-value deck led by Sefris of the Hidden Ways. Its main plan is to mill or discard creatures, venture through a dungeon, and return creatures when the dungeon is completed. Stillness in Motion, Eerie Gravestone, Imperious Inkmage, and venture creatures support that plan, while Ancient Brass Dragon, Rilsa Rael, Kingpin, and Tomb of Horrors Adventurer provide higher-end payoffs. The deck can assemble a usable engine around turn 5, but the engine is slow and its access is inconsistent. It produces value rather than a dependable lethal clock. Its mill-win cards are attractive alternate payoffs, but they need substantial additional setup and do not form an infinite combo. Interaction is present but expensive and narrow, while protection for the commander, enchantment, graveyard, and closing creatures is incomplete. The deck is best suited to a slower table where incremental recursion and dungeon progress have time to matter.
