Deck overview

This Jeskai artifact deck is commanded by Kilo, Apogee Mind, an aggressive 3/3 artifact creature with haste that proliferates whenever it becomes tapped. The strategy revolves around deploying early counter-bearing permanents, charge mana rocks, and artifact creatures, using Kilo's immediate attack triggers to steadily multiply counters across the board. Mid-game engines like Insight Engine, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Deepglow Skate rapidly expand this advantage, generating massive mana reserves and overflowing card advantage. The deck converts its board development into victory primarily through Lux Artillery, which deals 10 damage to each opponent at end step once thirty counters are assembled across friendly permanents, reinforced by heavy combat pressure from Kappa Cannoneer, Bronze Guardian, and Walking Ballista. Resilient protection like Ripples of Potential and mass recursion via Wake the Past safeguard the strategy against board wipes, delivering a focused, highly synergistic counter-based clock.
