Edgar Markov by Meecrob

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Edgar Markov from the command zone to trigger eminence whenever you cast a Vampire spell, generating free creature tokens to quickly build a wide board. The primary strategy swarms opponents using early, low-mana Vampires boosted by lords like Legion Lieutenant and Stromkirk Captain, while ping effects like Warleader's Call whittle down life totals. Secondary paths finish games through drain engines like Vein Ripper, Sanctum Seeker, or Malakir Bloodwitch, as well as an infinite loop between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and either Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Marauding Blight-Priest. The commander is rarely cast early, acting instead as a late-game anthem and hasty clock.
